How Tiposi.io Works
Tiposi.io is the most comprehensive and customizable F1 prediction game available. Predict every qualifying and race session for all 22 Formula 1 drivers — compete with friends, climb the leaderboard, and discuss the season with other Tiposis!
Getting started is quick and free. Here's how it works:
1. Create Your Account ⯆
Sign up for a free Tiposi account to start making your predictions. You'll only need a username, email address, and a password. After creating your account, you can customize your preferences like email notifications.
2. Join or Create a Campaign ⯆
Join a campaign (league) with friends or make your own private or public one! Campaigns allow you to compete against a select group and climb your own leaderboard.
- Private Campaigns: Invite-only via secret link
- Public Campaigns: Open to all Tiposi users
Every campaign can be heavily customized by the creator:
- Race Scoring: Variable (Curved Points) vs Flat Points
- Qualifying: Simple (Top 10 / Dropouts) vs Full Grid (P1-P22)
- Season Predictions: Enabled or Disabled
3. Predict Each F1 Race Weekend ⯆
During every Grand Prix weekend, submit your predictions for:
- Qualifying Results:
- Simplified: Predict what qualifying session each driver will reach.
- Full Grid: Predict the exact starting order from P1 to P22.
- Race Results: Predict the finishing order for all 22 drivers plus who will set the Fastest Lap.
- Auto-Populate: In a hurry? Use this button to fill predictions based on the current season standing or your last prediction.
4. Score Points ⯆
After the sessions, you’ll earn points based on how accurate your predictions were. For example, races are scored like this:
- Race Scoring:
- Variable (Curved Scoring Diagram): Exact positions reward points following a curve: P1=1, P2=2... P10=10, P11=11, P12=11, P13=10... P21=2, P22=1. Off-by-1 gets half points.
- Flat: Consistent 6 points for every correct position. Off-by-1 gets 3 points.
- Qualifying Scoring:
- Simplified: 4 points for Q1/Q2 hits, 2 points for Q3 hits.
- Full Grid: 4 points for exact matches, 2 points for off-by-1.
- Bonuses: 5 points for each correct Pole Position and Fastest Lap match.
Every campaign can have its own custom scoring configuration, updated automatically after each session!
5. Track Your Progress ⯆
Follow your scores across all races. Tiposi makes it easy to see:
- Your total season points
- Performance breakdowns (per race and per session)
- Head-to-head comparisons with other Tiposi
6. Discuss with other Tiposi ⯆
There is a comment session in every campaign and another for each race weekend. Discuss:
- Drivers' results
- Your progress during the campaign

Can I create private leagues for friends?
Yes! You can create private campaigns and invite friends with a special invite link.
Do I have to predict every race?
No, but the more races you predict, the better your chances to climb the leaderboard!
Can I update my predictions?
Yes — as long as it's before the session (Qualifying or Race) deadline.
What about Sprint Races?
Sprint races are currently not included in the beta version of Tiposi.
