Hirakawa Replaces Ocon in Mexico: Automated Tip Conversion
Haas has replaced Esteban Ocon with reserve driver Ryo Hirakawa for the rest of the Mexico City Grand Prix weekend, starting with the final practice session. Hirakawa drives car number 50 alongside Oliver Bearman, and Sunday will be his Formula 1 race debut.
Who Is Ryo Hirakawa?
The 32-year-old from Japan is a two-time World Endurance Champion and won the 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans with Toyota. Haas has not given a reason for the change, other than confirming that it is not due to illness. Full details were reported by Autosport.
Automated Tip Conversion on Tiposi.io
Several players had already sent in their Mexico tips with Ocon in the Haas seat. So that these picks are not lost, we have converted them automatically:
- Ocon ("OCO") → Hirakawa ("HIR"): wherever you placed Ocon in your Mexico qualifying or race tip, Hirakawa now takes that place. This includes pole and fastest-lap picks.
The change applies to the Mexico City Grand Prix only. Tips for other races and season predictions are unchanged. Hirakawa is now in the driver list, and we will update it again once Haas confirms its line-up for Brazil.
Race tips stay open until lights out on Sunday at 20:00 UTC (21:00 CET), so there is still time to review your picks.
